Project overview

A closer look.

Construction of a new 200m² extension, complete refurbishment of the existing school building and the partial demolition of an existing school wing.

The works included extensive internal demolition and alterations, followed by the complete fit-out of the school’s teaching and support accommodation. Facilities included classrooms, staffroom, computer room, resource and tuition rooms, library, multipurpose room and toilet facilities, providing a modernised and improved learning environment.

The project also incorporated staff and visitor car parking, external works and associated site infrastructure.

With works undertaken within an active school environment, careful coordination and segregation were essential throughout the project. A comprehensive traffic management plan and designated exclusion zones were implemented to safely separate construction activities from pupils, staff and visitors while maintaining the ongoing operation of the school.
