Project overview

A closer look.

The project comprised an 818m² extension together with the comprehensive refurbishment, renovation and reconfiguration of the existing school, including re-roofing and extensive associated site development works.

The development included the fit-out of classrooms, offices, library, general purpose and special tuition rooms, welfare facilities, plant areas and a new sports hall incorporating a specialist timber sports floor. External works included access roadways, car parking, basketball courts and associated infrastructure.

To facilitate the works, PD Contractors provided and managed temporary accommodation for the school population, enabling the main construction programme to be delivered while maintaining continuity of educational activities.
