A closer look.

The project comprised the controlled demolition and site clearance of 16 two-storey residential properties at St. Laurence’s Terrace, Mullingar, including the specialist removal and disposal of asbestos-containing materials.

Works included demolition of the houses and associated extensions, removal of foundations, floors, paths, existing estate roadway and redundant services, together with comprehensive site clearance. Following demolition, affected areas were backfilled and compacted, with new boundary fencing, landscaping and associated reinstatement works completed throughout the site.

All demolition materials and waste were managed and disposed of through appropriately authorised facilities, with the works carefully coordinated to ensure the safe and controlled remediation of the site.
