A closer look.

The project comprised a programme of road infrastructure and junction improvement works at a number of key locations along the Roscommon and Galway Roads in Athlone, Co. Westmeath.The works included junction upgrades, road realignment and associated civil engineering works designed to improve traffic movement, road safety and connectivity. The project also incorporated the upgrading and reinstatement of associated road and pedestrian infrastructure, delivering improved functionality across the affected areas.
