Project overview

A closer look.

The project comprised the controlled partial demolition and making safe of an existing building on Main Street, Ballymahon, which had been identified as a dangerous structure.

Works included the careful removal of unstable sections of the building, together with associated temporary works, structural protection, site clearance and making-good works. Particular attention was given to protecting the adjoining property and maintaining a safe environment within the constrained town-centre location.

The works were carefully planned and sequenced to ensure the structure was safely stabilised and the required demolition completed in a controlled manner.
