Project: Athlone War Memorial (Athlone Castle)

Client: Westmeath County Council

Location: Athlone Castle, Athlone, Co. Westmeath.

Project Description: The contemporary stone memorial to honour Defence Forces personnel from the 4th Western Brigade who died in the cause of peace. The interlocking bronze plates symbolise the four compass points which implies the global spread of peace missions and the four provinces of Ireland.
